Paws in the Park:

Dogs and their humans love Paws in the Park, and return every year for the fun!  The event is hosted by Montgomery County Humane Society at the Montgomery County Agricultural Center (Fairgrounds) in Gaithersburg, Maryland.  Expect to see entertainment, vendors, food, music, K-9 agility competitions, contests and games for dogs and people, doggie fun zone, and of course, the dog walk!

Virginia Scottish Festival

An annual festival full of fun located in The Plains, Virginia with Scottish food, music, vendors, competitions and lots of Scottish culture!  Club members attend with their collies, alongside other Scottish breeds and walk in the exciting Parade of Dogs.  This is a good opportunity for the public to meet and greet our collies!

Howl O Wine

This annual fundraiser is a dog and family friendly event held in the Fall at Sugarloaf Mountain Vineyard, Comus, Maryland.  All proceeds from ticket sales benefit Wags for Hope.  There are vendors, free glass of wine with entry fee, doggie Halloween contest, and silent auction.

Alexandria Scottish Christmas Walk Parade

A large annual parade with dozens of Scottish Bagpipe bands; clans, dressed in their colorful tartans; Scottish dogs, girl scout troops, community groups and more, parading on a designated route through the streets of Olde Town, Alexandria.   This is a big event, where local residents and spectators come from all over to line the streets and cheer the paraders on.  And of course, to greet the guest of honor at the end of the parade … Santa Claus!  This event happens rain or shine!
